Valley Community Clinic (VCC) is a non-profit health clinic located in the San Fernando Valley. VCC is federally funded by a combination of county, state, federal fund foundations and donations. Being federally funded allows the VCC to provide medical services to individuals from little, to no-cost. The clinic is a provider of Medi-Cal and assists low-income and uninsured individuals. VCC’s primary mission is to “enhance the well-being of the community by providing high quality, culturally sensitive, primary medical care and related healthcare services to those in need regardless of their ability to pay.”

Valley Community Health Clinic provides a wide array of services to patients, some of which include:

  • General medical care services
  • Cancer screenings
  • Dental care
  • Pre-natal/women’s health care
  • HIV/AIDS care/prevention

Other educational services include nutritional and exercise counseling, mental healthcare, including anger management for adults and teens and optometry. VCC is considered a family practice and is able to assist men women and children of all ages. In addition, VCC also provides preventive care services on a broad scale to ensure health maintenance of all patients under their care. Emergency health services are also provided by VCC in case of a serious medical emergency.
